Digital accessibility at vcsdenmark.com
VCS Denmark is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually make changes in order to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Wherever possible, vcsdenmark.com will aim to adhere to level AA of the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, according to which, web sites must be:
- Perceivable - Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive, e.g. with text alternatives to non-text content.
- Operable – Users must be able to operate all functions from a keyboard, interface components and navigation must be operable.
- Understandable - Information and the operation of user interface must be readable and predictable.
- Robust - Content must be designed so that it can be interpreted reliably by a broad range of user agents, including assistive technologies.
As part of our efforts to achieve WCAG 2.0 AA compliance, we regularly review and evaluate the website.
