2016-2018: Conducting training programmes for employees at Kafubu Water and Sewage, as a subcontractor to Krüger. The overall project improved local water og wastewater management by renovating and building new facilities, as well as introducing new equipment and software. Our main focus: Provide training in how to operate and maintain the new facilities and utilise the new equipment. In total, 400 training days were planned and carried out, with participation from our Danish partners in 3VAND.

Erzincan, Turkey
2012-2014:
The Erzincan Water and Wastewater project provided technical assistance for rehabilitation of the existing wastewater system (planning, design and tendering) and for modernization of the Erzincan Municipality Water Utility Department as well as support for the proper implementation of infrastructure projects under EOP.
VCS participated as subconsultant in training and capacity building for using GIS and reducing NRW .
VCS Denmark also prepared a Business Plan. The aim of the Business Plan was to present medium- and long-term objectives of the Water Utility Department (WUD) as well as the operational and investment costs associated with the objectives. The plan also outlined staffing structure and performance indicators, developed for the evaluation of the implementation.
